I just got back from my time at FolkFest and holy smokes was it fun. It was an opportunity for me to step away from work for a bit without having to worry about what's waiting for me back at the office. I had a chance to really fill my boots.

But I noticed that not everyone there was there to disconnect and enjoy their time.

Stepping away from work can be challenging. Often, the overwhelm we feel is because we haven't set ourselves up for success. So here's my trick: Buffer your time before and after a break. Making small changes can help you truly disconnect, recharge, and return feeling whole and more resourceful.
